A Lengyel Anna által alapított PanoDráma független előadó-művészeti szervezet célja a nemzetközi kortás dráma fordítása, színpadra állítása. Missziójának tekinti a kortárs nemzetközi dráma felkutatását, támogatását, elérhetővé tételét a hazai közönség, valamint további produkciók számára.
A lefordított darabokból a PanoDráma rendszeresen tart felolvasószínházi előadásokat, valamint igyekszik ezek nagyrészét kiadványként is megjelentetni.
A PanoDráma darabjaiban a világhírű német dokumentumszínházi formáció, a Rimini Protokoll munkamódszerével dolgozik. Tevékenységükre jellemzőek a társadalompolitikai kérdésfelvetésekre fókuszáló darabok, mint például a 2011 tavaszán bemutatott Szórol szóra című verbatim színházi előadás, ahol a 2008-2009-es romák elleni támadássorozattal foglalkoztak. 2012-es,Tanulni, tanulni, tanulni című előadásukban a beiskolázás, szegregáció, iskolai erőszak, és a felsőoktatás aktuális helyzete kerül az érdeklődés középpontjába. A dokumentumszínházi előadás szövegei középiskolai tanárokkal, diákokkal, szülőkkel készített interjúkon alapulnak.
PanoDrama
The objective of the PanoDrama Hungarian Independent Theatre organization, founded by Anna Lengyel, is to translate and put on stage international contemporary drama.
Its mission is to seek out and support international contemporary drama, and to render it accessible to the Hungarian audience, as well as other productions.
Stage readings of the translated plays are held by PanoDrama on a regular basis, with most of the material published.
PanoDrama’s theatre pieces employ the working method of the internationally renowned German documentary theatre formation Rimini Protokoll. Productions focusing on social policy issues are characteristic of the organization’s activities. Such was the verbatim theatre performance Word for Word, which opened in spring 2011, and which dealt with a series of attacks against Roma that took place in 2008-2009. Their 2012 production To Learn, to Learn, to Learn focused on education, segregation, school violence and the current situation in higher education. The texts of the documentary theatre performance are based on interviews with secondary school teachers, students and parents.
